Russian trade sanctions,
But who’s hurting who?
The EU only doing
What it’s told to do;
The US deciding
That Russia’s a threat,
And sanctions, not diplomacy
Will be the best bet.
After cutting off its nose
To spite it’s face,
The US lead revolution
In Ukraine loses pace;
US foreign policy
Once again flawed,
And a ‘hit’ against Russia
Has hardly been scored.
Don’t believe the mainstream media
And their government rhetoric,
The great bear has been prodded
With an unnecessary stick,
And Putin is just waiting,
He’s biding his time,
As he watches the West
Accuse him of the crime.
As power is slowly shifting
From the West to the East,
China, Russia and India
On the future will feast,
While the West still promotes
Its own one world agenda,
To threats and intimidation
You won’t see the Russians surrender.
